A.R Rahman

Allah Rakha Rahman (Born 6 January 1966 as A. S. Dileep Kumar) is an Indian film composer, record producer, musician, singer and philanthropist. Described as the world’s most prominent and prolific film composer by Time, his works are notable for integrating eastern classical music with electronic music sounds, world music genres and traditional orchestral arrangements. He has won two Academy Awards, two Grammy Awards, a BAFTA Award, a Golden Globe, four National Film Awards, fourteen Filmfare Awards, thirteen South Filmfare Awards in addition to numerous other awards and nominations. Time has referred to him as the “Mozart of Madras” and several Tamil commentators and fans have coined him the nickname Isai Puyal (Tamil: Mozart of Madras) In 2009, Time placed Rahman in its list of World’s Most Influential People.

His sister Alvira is married to director Atul Agnihotri. Salman started his acting carrier in 1988 by doing a supporting role in the movie "Biwi Ho To Aisi". However, at the suggestion of fellow poet, Harivansh Rai changed the name to Amitabh which means, “the light that would never go off.” Though his surname was Shrivastava, he replaced it with ‘Bachchan’, which was his father’s pen name. Amitabh Bachchan studied in Allahabad at Jnana Pramodhini and Boys High School.

Michael Caine was born Maurice Joseph Micklewhite in South London on March 14th 1933. Michael has a younger brother Stanley Micklewhite born 1935. Jackie Chan was born on April 7th, 1954 in Victoria Peak,  From a young age he practiced kung fu with his father.  At the age of seven, his father left to take a job in Australia and he was left behind in Hong Kong to study at the China Drama Academy where he remained for ten years and studied singing, acting, martial arts and acrobatics.  This school was meant to prepare the children for work in the Chinese Opera, therefore academics were not focused on.  While in school, he became a member of, "The Seven Little Fortunes" performing troupe along with other martial artists, Sammo Hung Kam-Bo and Biao Yuen who later also pursued careers in the film industry. 

He was cast in his first film while still in school in the Cantonese movie, "Seven Little Valiant Fighters: Big and Little Wong Tin Bear".  When he was seventeen and finished school, the Chinese Opera was no longer popular and he was left to find work to support himself.  Due to his lack of education he found work as a stuntman in films in Hong Kong and later moved to be with his family in Australia.
