Biography


Priyanka was conceived in Jamshedpur and is affectionately known as Mimi. She proceeded to bring home the Miss World crown in 2000, getting one of the five Indians to have won that title. Her dad is Capt. Dr. Ashok Chopra and her mom is Dr. Madhu Chopra. Her dad was in the military and along these lines her family moved as often as possible. As of now her occupation is entertainer, vocalist, model, film maker.

Qualification

Priyanka done school life in four or five parts. She studied at the La Martiniere Girl’s School in Lucknow before re-locating to the United States of America. While there, she studied at the Newton North High School in Massachusetts and later in North Delta Senior Secondary School in North Delta. On returning back to India, she continued her schooling in the Army School at Bareilly. She began college at Jai Hind College in Mumbai but left after winning the Miss India World title.

Career

Priyanka Chopra made her introduction in the 2002 Tamil film Thamizhan. In 2003, she showed up in her first Bollywood film, inverse Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta, The Hero.
